Ron Perry

President, National 8(a) Association

 

Ron Perry is President of the National 8(a) Association and of Teya Technologies LLC. – an 8(a) Certified Alaska Native Corporation.

Teya Technologies LLC provides services in IT, security services armed and electronic, medical employee leasing, logistics, construction and management services. Teya is a subsidiary of Salamatof Na-tive Association located in Kenai, Alaska. President since October 2006. Teya Technologies was listed as the Alaska Native Corporation of the year 2006 by Northwest American Indian Development and National Center of American Indian Enterprise Development.

Ron Perry is an Alaska Native and a nationally recognized expert in 8(a) and minority contracting including: Mentor Protégé, JV, teaming, equity buyouts and national trends. With 20 years of federal business experience, Ron has specialized experience navigating the ever‐continuing changes in Government contracting to include HUBZone, Service Disabled Vet, and Woman Owned. Ron is one of only two Native Americans who has been the president/CEO of both an individually owned 8(a) company and the president of an Alaska Native Corporation. Furthermore, Ron is the past Chairman of the CIRI foundation ($54 million endowment), an education endowment established in 1982 to promote the education and career development of Alaska Native enrollees and their descendants through postsecondary educational scholarship and grant programs. Ron plays an active role in his local community as well as a past member of the Municipality of Anchorage budget advisory commission, supporter of the Boys and Girls Club, the March of Dimes, and the local native arts.

Mr. Perry obtained his bachelor's degree from Oregon State University and has attended 8(a) training through Loyola University and a pilot program between Howard University and the University of Alaska Anchorage.
