Tony is a Management Program Analyst for FAA Small Business Development Program Group, Eastern Service Area, Atlanta, Georgia. Tony oversees the Southern, Eastern, and New England Service Areas for procurement assistance for small businesses. Responsibilities include policy, guidance, setting annual direct contract and subcontracting goals for small businesses, women-owned small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially economically disadvantaged individuals (including  8 (a)), and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.

Tony joined the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in August 2001 after 26 years of military service in the United States Army.  Tony worked as a Contracting Officer until he was promoted to a Manager in August 2010.

Tony has an intensive background in Acquisitions, Property, Security, and Facility Management, and has served in various leadership roles in his almost 40 years of service for the Federal government.

Tony has strong negotiation skills with potential business contracts whereby the end result was saving the government over 10 million dollars.  On one FAA contract alone, he saved 3.8 million dollars.

He continues to support the FAA Small Business Development Program as he firmly beliefs you have to try to support the government’s initiate to provide assistance and give Small Business Concerns/Disadvantaged Businesses a chance to economically be successful.  Most notably, he nominated two Women-Owned Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses 8 (a), in which one was awarded the Department of Transportation’s Women Business Enterprise Award (2004) and the other awarded Best of the Best FAA Small Business Development Program Award (2008).
