Congress has provided NHOs, ANCs, and Tribes with a strong role within federal government contracting. We will discuss and examine the constitutional and statutory basis for those Native contracting programs, the current threats and issues that Native entities are facing in SBA contracting programs, and how Native entities can advocate for, and defend, their role in SBA small business contracting programs, including the 8(a) Program.
