The LaGrange Lock and Dam is a vital component of the Illinois Waterway. This project will construct a new 1200-ft lock chamber landside of the existing 600-ft chamber, ensuring efficient navigation for years to come. Once complete, both the existing and new locks will be operational and able to facilitate river navigation traffic.
